NEW ACE ADAPTER FRAME FIELDED FOR CLT DOLLY SET
CDK Mobile Systems has designed and fielded a new ACE Adapter Frame that will permit handling of NATO ACE shelters with the CLT and M1022-A1 Dolly Sets.
Each frame comes complete with four twistlock bolt assemblies to permit connection to either ACE Type 1 or Type 2 shelters. Once connected to the ACE shelter, the CLT Dolly Set can connect to the 8 ft x 8 ft connection points on the adapter frame for normal transportation, handling and aircraft loading operations.
This adapter kit reduces the number of mobilizer systems required in the field to handle a wider range of military shelters and ISO containers.
ACE adapter frames were fielded in late 2008 with military agencies in three European NATO countries.
